STUDENT LIFE AT OAK HILLS
At Oak Hills High School, we are proud to be Highlanders because we are not only excellent in the classroom, but we also give back to our community. We are part of something bigger!
Through various organizations, from Mock Trial to Key Club to Model UN, students experience real-life through problem solving, critical thinking, and service learning projects. All students are strongly encouraged to become part of at least one student activity.
Our students care about leaving Oak Hills a better place. Several years ago, our seniors built a program to welcome freshmen into the building. They discovered that “Their future is our legacy.” Today we live by this motto as we seek to make the lives of others better through our service learning, our co-curricular involvement and our commitment to helping our community.

Dear Parents,
Datacom Specialists, a local technology company, is offering a technology device purchase program to all families enrolled in the Oak Hills Local School District, including students, parents, and staff. Participants can purchase refurbished or new devices at drastically reduced prices. Devices range from $199 for a refurbished Dell laptop with dual core processor and 80 Gb Hard Drive to $850 for a HP laptop with an Intel Core processor and 500 GB Hard Drive. Tablets are also available. Datacom is taking steps to make Apple products available, as well.
Families will also have the option to purchase the following:
- Service agreement to protect their devices (whether purchased through Datacom or another retailer). Through this service agreement, students will be able to get tech support as needed while at school, and within 24 hours for emergency support.
- Insurance policy to protect the devices from accidental damage & theft.
Open Houses for parents and students will be held after school at:
- Delhi Middle School on April 3rd from 5:00-7:30,
- Oak Hills High School on April 4th from 5:00-7:30.
These Open Houses are designed for families to stop in, browse devices (which will be available for hands-on review) and meet Datacom employees. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and/or order devices.
